1) Find the mileage as the crow flies in the thingy on the left and multiply it by 3. (Distance mileage discounts on page 7.) Add £30 for the cost of a ground floor to ground floor move. For extra stops on the way add £15 per stop and the mileage is £1.50 point to point then return. If more than one load is required mileage is charged at half price for subsequent trips.
2) For every floor up or down at each end add £20 if you (supply) help or £60 if you not. Lift usage counts as one floor. (See page 6.)
3) Each extra person hired will cost £30 plus 30% of the total above for moves under £150 or a straight extra 50% if above £150. At exactly £150 you decide which!
When there are stairs and you decide to pay the full £60 per flight floorage but do not hire helpers you may find they turn up anyway. You will not be charged if you did not order them and of course discounts will be in order for low items moves like delivery and collection jobs. | |
